NYLON LOCK NUT REPLACEMENT

Any nylon insert lock nut removed during the periodic maintenance, assembly, or disassembly of the

Travel Scooter must be replaced with a new nut. Nylon insert lock nuts should not be reused as it may

cause damage to the nylon insert, resulting in a less secure fit. Replacement nylon insert lock nuts are

available at local hardware stores or through your authorized Mega Motion Provider.

STORING YOUR TRAVEL SCOOTER

If you plan on not using your Travel Scooter for an extended period of time, it is best to:

1. Fully charge its batteries prior to storage.

2. Remove the battery pack from the Travel Scooter.

3. Store your Travel Scooter in a warm, dry environment.

4. Avoid storing your Travel Scooter where it will be exposed to temperature extremes.

Batteries that are regularly and deeply discharged, infrequently charged, stored in extreme temperatures,

or stored without a full charge may be permanently damaged, causing unreliable performance and limited

service life. It is recommended that you charge the Travel Scooter batteries periodically throughout

periods of prolonged storage to ensure proper performance.

WARNING! Always protect batteries from freezing temperatures and never charge a

frozen battery.  Charging a frozen battery can result in damage to the battery.

For prolonged storage, you may wish to place several boards under the frame of your Travel Scooter to

raise it off of the ground. This takes the weight off the tires and reduces the possibility of flat spots

developing on the areas of the tires contacting the ground.

DISPOSAL OF YOUR SCOOTER

Your Travel Scooter must be disposed of according to applicable local and national statutory regulations.

Contact your local waste disposal agency or authorized Mega Motion Provider for information on proper

disposal of packaging, metal frame components, plastic components, electronics, batteries, neoprene,

silicone, and polyurethane materials.
