Rotor lever
The rotor lever is located to the left of the handle. Press in the rotor lever to activate the rotor, release to
stop the snow blowing function. Also release the drive lever to stop the machine.
IMPORTANT!
Always check the rotor function before use. Perform all the adjustments and checks
described in these instructions to ensure that the machine is working safely and correctly.
Runners
The distance between the shave plate and the ground is set by moving the runners. See the section on
adjusting the height of the runners.
Gear lever
The gear lever is located on the handle and has 8 positions for moving forwards and backwards at
various speeds.
Forwards
The machine has 6 forward gears (F), where 1st is the slowest. Drive at the lowest speed when snow
throwing.
Reverse
The machine has 2 reverse gears (R), where 1st is the slowest.
The machine has 2 reverse gears (R), where 1st is the slowest.
Headlamp
The headlamp is turned on and off with a switch to the left of the control panel.
IMPORTANT!
Always release the drive lever before shifting gears.
Control handle, ejector unit
The control handle for the ejector unit is located on the left side of the machine.
Set the desired ejection direction by turning the control handle as shown below.
1.
Turn clockwise to turn the ejector to the left.
2.
Turn anti-clockwise to turn the ejector to the right.
Control handle, ejection deflector
The ejection deflector controls the ejection height. Raise or lower the deflector using the control handle.
Fuel recommendations
Use unleaded petrol with a rating of at least 95 octane. Petrol with at most 10% ethanol or 15% MTBE
(methyl tertiary butyl ether) can be used. Never use old, contaminated fuel or fuel mixed with oil. Avoid
getting water and debris in the fuel tank. Do not use E85.
Only refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine switched off. Keep petrol away from sparks and
naked flames, and do not smoke where petrol is stored or when filling petrol.
Do not overfill the tank. Replace the filler cap properly after filling.
Be careful not to spill fuel when filling. Spilled fuel and fuel fumes constitute a fire risk. Wipe up any
spilled fuel before starting the engine.
Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact with fuel and/or inhalation of fuel fumes.
Refuelling
WARNING!
Be very careful when handling fuel. Petrol is highly flammable and can be
explosive in certain circumstances. Never refuel indoors or with the engine running. Store
and handle petrol away from sparks, naked flames, heat and other ignition sources.
Smoking prohibited!
