Undo the locking screw clockwise with a hex key. Take off the blade.
4.
Fit the new blade in the reverse order to the above. NOTE: Make sure that the blade rotates in
the same direction as the marking on the top guard.
5.
Check that the blade rotates freely and does not touch any part of the saw.
REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES
The lifespan of the carbon brushes depends on how hard the motor is run. Replace the carbon
brushes after approx. 50 working hours or after 10000 starts/stops.
Check the carbon brushes as follows:
1.
Remove both covers with a Phillips screwdriver, one on each side of the motor.
2.
The carbon brushes are inside the covers, pull out the carbon brushes.
3.
Check the length of the carbon brushes (min 6.35 mm).
4.
Replace both carbon brushes if either of them is less than 6.35 mm, or if a spring or shunt
wire is burned or otherwise damaged.
CLEANING
• Vacuum clean the saw and clean the casing with a damp cloth, without using strong solvent,
and dry thoroughly.
• Clean the saw regularly.
• Empty the dustbag.
Min. 6,35 mm
