Use in the cold
The battery works optimally between 0°C and 40°C. If the battery is very cold, it can work inconsistently
during the first few minutes, until it becomes hot. Connect the battery to a tool and run the tool at a low
load. After a minute the battery has become warm and functions normally.
Charging
Lithium batteries have no charge memory and can be recharged at any time, even if they are not fully
discharged. Remove the battery from the tool and charge it at your convenience. You can fully charge the
battery before starting a long period of work. Lithium batteries provide a even power supply until they are
discharged. When the battery has discharged the tool loses power quickly. Charge the battery.
NOTE!
The battery is not fully charged on delivery. The battery must be fully charged before using for the
first time.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Do not use solvents on plastic parts, as this could damage the plastic.
Remove any dirt and carbon dust etc. with a clean cloth.
Battery
The battery consists of rechargeable lithium battery cells. How often the battery needs to be
charged depends on the usage.
Battery capacity decreases over time. Replace the battery when it can no longer be charged
correctly. Never attempt to dismantle the battery or replace the cells. Do not handle the battery with
wet hands or with jewelery on your hands - risk of severe burns.
Follow these instructions to ensure the longest possible life.
Remove the battery from the charger and unplug the charger’s power cord when not in use.
Follow the instructions below if the battery is not going to be used for a month or more.
Store the battery dry an at most 26 °C.
Store the battery charged between 30 and 50 %.
Fully charge the battery every six months if it is not used.
The battery can be cleaned on the outside with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
