2. Fit the battery carefully in the charger –
do not use force. There is only one way
the battery fits in the charger.
3. Check that the battery is correctly inserted
in the charger.
4. Plug the charger into a power point and
put the power switch on the charger in
the ON position.
IMPORTANT:
The recommended battery temperature
when charging is 24°C and the permissible
temperature is 0 to 40°C. If the temperature
of the battery cells is below or over the
permissible temperature range the charger
will not charge the battery.
BEFORE STARTING THE PRODUCT
1. Put the battery in the battery
compartment.
2. Remove the guard.
3. Make sure that the blade is not touching
anything.
STARTING/SWITCHING OFF
1. To reduce the risk of accidental starting
the power switch has a start inhibitor.
Press back the start inhibitor with your
thumb and press the power switch at the
same time.
2. Release the start inhibitor.
3. Release the power switch to switch off.

WARNING!
• Both switches must be activated to start
and run the product. The product
switches off if one of the two switches is
released.
• Release the switch immediately if the
bar is blocked during work, or if the
product gets caught among the
branches.
• Never attempt to lock either switch in
the ON position.
PRUNING
1. Allow the chain to reach full speed before
starting to cut the branch.
2. Keep a firm grip on the product to counter
kickback and lateral movement.
3. Apply the chain against the branch with
a slight pressure. When sawing thicker
branches the wood can splinter and break
before the branch is fully sawn. Follow the
instructions below to avoid splintering and
get smooth cuts.
4. Make a cut with the top edge of the bar
on the bottom side of the branch, about
15 cm from the trunk and about one third
of the thickness of the branch.
5. Now cut the remaining two thirds of the
branch from above.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the required angle of the machine head
by pressing in the catch and adjusting the
machine head to the required position.

MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT:
• Remove the battery from the product
before cleaning and maintenance.
Unplug the charger from the power
point before cleaning.
