Safety Instructions
To ensure your safety in using this Medline Folding Walker, all warnings
and safety information and all instructions must be followed. Failure to
do so may result in serious bodily injury or damage to the product.

use this product without first reading and understanding the instructions contained in this
booklet. If you are unable to understand the warnings, cautions or instructions, contact a healthcare
professional, durable medical equipment dealer or technical personnel, or contact Medline at
1-800-Medline before use - otherwise serious bodily injury or product damage may occur.

A qualified technician must perform any repair or change to this product or serious injury may occur.
Technicians:

service the walker without first reading and understanding this owner’s manual.

Save these instructions for future reference!
BEFORE EACH USE MAKE SURE:
•
Walker is adjusted to correct height. Consult with your physician or therapist to determine the
proper adjustment height and usage.
•
Locking mechanisms and spring buttons are fully engaged.
•
Tips are in good condition. Replace tips immediately when worn or missing.
•
Walker sits level and all legs are adjusted to an equal height.
•
Use only as instructed by your healthcare provider. Always use extreme care when using a walker.
Avoid all potential safety hazards including slippery, uneven or soft surfaces and objects in path.
•
Use wheels on front legs of walker only.
•
Do not “rack” the walker by pushing one side forward and then the other side without lifting the walker.
•
Use Medline accessories only. Use of other accessories may result in improper fit and risk of fall and injury.
•
Do not use on stairs or on steep surfaces.
•
The use of walkers in water (showers, bathtubs, pools, etc.) may corrode the working mechanisms of
your walker. The use of a corroded walker may result in damage to the walker and/or injuries to the user.
•
When transferring from a wheelchair to a walker, be certain wheelchair wheels are locked.
•
Do not use your walker if you have any handicaps or disabilities or are using medications that would impair
or interfere with safe usage of this product.
•
Failure to follow the above instructions may result in serious injury.
•
If the walker is exposed to extreme temperatures (above 104°F and below 32°F) make sure the hand grips
are tight and do not twist. STOP using the walker if the hand grips are not tight and do twist.
•
After unfolding or assembly, ensure walker is securely locked.
•
Don't hang anything on the side or rear frame or crossbar. This will make the frame or crossbar bend down-
ward and prevent walker from locking, which can also result in injury or damage.
•
Always test to see that the walker and attachments are properly and securely locked in place before using.
