PART ONE: Seat and Legs Assembly
Only the
MDS89745ELMB
will have the two backrest support bars
(H). These are not necessary for the
MDS89740ELMB
.
Step 1:
Turn the seat (A) over to reveal screw holes and the X shape indents for the
mainframe. First, place the leg (C) with the #1 indented in the tubing in the slot next
to the #1 imprinted on the seat (A).
Step 2: Attach leg mainframe (C) to the Seat (A).
Place the 2nd leg with the #2 indented in the tubing in the slot with the #2
imprinted on the seat. This should cross over the #1 leg in an X so they align with
the indented slots. Line up the hole on each leg mainframe (C) with the screw
hole on the underside of the seat (A). Place a washer on the smallest of the 5
hand screws and secure in middle hole. (See Figure 2) HAND TIGHTEN ONLY!
Step 3A: Apply remaining 4 hand screws (B) to secure leg mainframe (C)
(for
MDS89740ELMBC
only).
Place remaining washers on hand screws (B) and insert into one of the other desired
holes and hand tighten to secure to seat. Repeat step 3 times to completely apply
leg main frames (C) to the seat (A) HAND TIGHTEN ONLY!
Step 3B: Assemble Backrest support bars (H) to seat (A) and leg mainframes (C)
(For
MDS89745ELMBC
only).
Line up the holes on the backrest support bars (H) with the holes on the leg
mainframes that are now attached to the seat (A). Insert washer on hand screw (B)
and place where holes align and hand tighten (A). Place a second hand screw with
washer (B) into the remaining hole and hand tighten to secure to the first backrest
support bar (H). Repeat for other backrest support bar (H).
