3 Operation
3.5 Measuring the temperature of an object
Switch on the thermometer by shortly pressing button for forehead
measurement mode or the button for ear measurement mode .
The device performs a self-test and emits two short beeps.

Press and hold the set & memory buttons at the same time
for at least 3 seconds. The symbol for the surface temperature
measurement mode appears in the display .

To begin the measurement, point the sensor at the middle of the
object (resp. of the liquid) at a distance of approx. 3 cm. Press the
button for forehead measurement mode or the button for ear
measurement mode . If the object has water, dust or dirt on it,
remove this first so that the reading is as accurate as possible.

Release the button. After the measurement process is complete,
you will hear a beep and the body temperature will be displayed
in the display .

The measurement result will automatically be saved. Again press
and hold the set & memory buttons at the same time for
at least 3 seconds to return to body temperature measurement
mode. After some seconds without pressing any button the device
will switch off automatically.
3.6 Recalling stored data
The
MEDISANA Infrared thermometer TM 750
can store up to 30
results. You can call up your stored data with a short press of the
memory button . Firstly, the average value of all stored measure-
ment results appears in the display , e.g.:
