about the power supply
• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please en-
sure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is com-
patible with your mains supply.
• Only connect the mains plug to the wall socket when the device
is switched off.
• Do not operate this unit near high frequency electromagnetic
sources.
• Keep the power cord and the device itself away from heat, hot sur-
faces, damp and liquids. Avoid touching the plug or power switch
with wet or even damp hands, or when you are standing in water.
• Parts that conduct electricity on the device must not come into
contact with liquid.
• If the device falls into water, do not try to pick it up. Instead pull the
plug out immediately.
• Always make sure that the plug is easily accessible when the de-
vice is connected.
• Disconnect the plug from the socket immediately after using the
device.
• Never pull on the power cord to disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Always pull out the mains plug!
• Do not carry, pull or rotate the device by its power cord.
• Ensure that the cable will not cause tripping. The cable must not
be kinked, trapped or twisted.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• The surface of the appliance is hot. People who are insensitive to
heat must be careful when using the appliance.
