Connecting an external playback device
− Press and hold the
LIGHT
button down for approx. 2 seconds to choose between the following advanced
settings:
• outer speaker LED ring glows blue continuously and
E-1
appears on the display.
• outer speaker LED ring glows red continuously and
E-2
appears on the display.
• outer speaker LED ring flashes red /blue alternately and
E-3
appears on the display.
Connecting an external playback device
You can use the
AUX IN
1
port to connect to an external playback device (e.g. CD player or MP3 player).
− Switch the
POWER
switch

to the
OFF
position to put the device in standby mode.
− Switch off your external device.
− Plug one end of a 3.5 mm audio jack (not supplied) into the
AUX IN
port on the top of the device.
− Connect the other end of the cable to your external device.
− Switch on your external device.
− Switch the portable Bluetooth sound system on by pressing the
SOURCE/
button .
NOTICE!
Turn the portable Bluetooth sound system on by switching the
POWER
switch to the
ON
position.
− Press the
SOURCE/
button several times until
AUH
(AUX) appears on the display. The audio signal of your
external device will now play back.
Radio
− If necessary, press the
SOURCE/

button one or more times to switch to radio mode. The display will
show
FM
and the current frequency.
NOTICE!
After a electrostatic discharge affecting the device, in some instances the device may take up to 4 minutes to start
playing the last radio station received again.
Tuning the station
− Press the
/TUN. +

/Tun.-

briefly to tune to a particular frequency.
Hold one of the buttons down to automatically scan for the next station.
NOTICE!
The frequency of the radio stations changes in 0.05 MHz increments.
However this is not displayed. Instead, the last digit flashes once without changing.
− Press the
/TUN. +

/TUN.-
buttons as often as needed until you have selected the desired frequency.
Saving and loading stations
Automatically saving stations
− Hold the / /
AMS

button down until the station scan starts automatically.
All the stations found will now be saved automatically in order, starting with the lowest frequency. Stations
already saved will be overwritten without further prompting.
− Press the
/TUN.+
or
/Tun.-
button to stop saving automatically.
