9. End of operation
If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, disconnect the
mains plug from the socket and store the appliance in a dry location.
10. Troubleshooting
The product left our warehouse in perfect condition. If you do, however, discover a
problem, see if you can solve it by using the solutions offered in the following table.
If these do not work, contact our Customer Services department.
Problem Possible cause Troubleshooting
Ice cream maker
does not work. The mains plug
is not connect-
ed to a socket. Only connect the appliance to a properly
installed power socket. The local mains
voltage must correspond to the techni-
cal data for the appliance.
The stirrer does
not rotate. The ice cream is
too thick.
Preparation
time too long. Change the recipe.
Ice cream consist-
ency too soft. Ice cream con-
tainer not cold
enough.
Insufficient
ventilation. The aluminium bowl must reach a tem-
perature of –15 °C, do not keep the cov-
er open too long.
Ensure that there is sufficient distance
between the ventilation slots and other
appliances or the wall.
11. Disposal
Packaging
The product has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit.
Packaging is raw material and can be re-used or added to the recycling
system.
Appliance
Do not under any circumstances dispose of the appliance with the
household rubbish at the end of its service life. Please consult your local
authority for advice on correct and eco-friendly methods of disposal.
