Initial operation and use
5
• Never heat up food in closed containers as they could easily explode. For
bottles and closeable containers, such as baby bottles, always remove
the closure beforehand.
• With foods that have a firm skin, e. g. sausages or tomatoes, make small
slits in the skin so that they do not burst during cooking.
• Do not try to warm up eggs in their shells or hard-boiled eggs unless in
specially designed microwave-suitable containers.
WARNING
Eggs that are already boiled can explode, even after being removed from
the cooking chamber.
• After heating, stir the food if possible to ensure even temperatures,
otherwise let the food stand for a short time.
• Check the temperature before eating food cooked in the microwave.
Special care must be taken with baby food and baby bottles. Always stir
or shake the baby food before checking the temperature to avoid burns.
