11. Using the device for the fi rst time

When using the device for the first time, the setup wizard will be initially dis-
played.

Confirm the query SETUP WIZARD START NOW? with YES in order to start
the setup wizard.

Select the language in which the menus are to be displayed and then press the
OK
rotary dial to confirm.
The setup wizard appears (in the previously selected language):
NOTE!
If you select
NO
, you can specify in the next window whether you want
the wizard to be started the next time you switch on the device.
11.1. Setting the time and date
• Set 12 hour or 24 hour mode for displaying the time.
• Specify whether the time is to be updated automatically via FM reception (
UP-
DATE FROM FM ) or via the network ( UPDATE FROM NET ).
• Then set the automatic setting of summer/winter time to ON or OFF .
NOTE!
If you have selected the option UPDATE FROM NET , you can set your
time zone in the next query window.

If you have selected the last option ( NO UPDATE ), set the time manually as fol-
lows:

The digits indicating the date will flash. Use the
