Using the alarm
You can set two alarm times. Each alarm can wake you
using the radio or an alarm sound. In addition, each
alarm can be set to sound on certain weekdays or daily.
Setting the alarm
− If you wish to be woken by the radio, fi rst select a
radio frequency (as described in “Radio” on page
30) and then turn the radio off by pressing
FUNC
until
OFF
is shown on the display.
− Press and hold the
AL 1
or
AL 2
button to switch
on the corresponding alarm.
The corresponding LED next to
AL 1
or
AL 2
is
shown on the display and the hour fl ashes.
− First press

to set the hours and then press
AL1
or
AL2
to confi rm the selection.
− First press

to set the minutes and then
press
AL1
or
AL2
to confi rm the selection.
− Now use

to specify which days the alarm is
to sound. Several options are available:

1-7
: daily from Monday to Sunday
•
1-5
: from Monday to Friday only
•
6-7
: at the weekend only

button to confi rm.

to set the desired alarm volume. V and
