Connecting LinkIt Smart 7688 to a Wi-Fi Access Point To Access
Internet
This section describes how LinkIt Smart 7688 development board connects to an AP in a Wi-Fi
network to access the Internet. To connect to an access point, LinkIt Smart 7688 needs to be in
Station mode. For more information please see section3.5, “Network Environment”.
4.6.5.1.
Using the Web UI
Open a browser with URL
mylinkit.local
. Please see section 4.5.3, “Connecting to the
Web UI” if you’ve not signed in before.

Click Network button on upper right as shown in Figure 29.

Select the
Station mode
and click
Refresh
or
downward arrow
on the right to find the AP
to connect to. After you’ve selected the AP, enter password if required. Click
Configure &
Restart
to finish as shown in Figure 30.
Note: If you entered the AP’s password incorrectly, you can reset the board to AP mode by clicking the
Wi-Fi button for at least 5 seconds and restart network setting to Station mode again.
