yellow wire to VIDEO. The fourth line of the
camera module is connected to Cam IR.
For the IR LEDs to light up, the brightness sensor
must be connected and darkened.
Terminal 5
The individual accommodation units and the bell
push button are connected to these terminals.
Terminal block 1 (A1-A6) for family 1, terminal
block 2 (B1-B6) for family 2, etc.
A-F1 = +15V
A-F2 = GND
A-F3 = Audio
A-F4 = Video
A-F5 = push-button
A-F6 = push-button
The button must be potential-free and is
connected directly to terminals 5 and 6.
Terminal 6
The power supply and the door opener are
connected here. On page 42 you will find an
exemplary connection diagram.
If the door opener responds only briefly (less
than 1 second), the current consumption of the
door opener is too high. In this case the electric
strike must either be replaced with a model with
a lower current consumption (max. 0.8A) or the
electric strike must be connected to a separate
power supply. You will find a corresponding
exemplary connection diagram on page 43.
Installation instructions
The power supply should be switched off during
installation to avoid short circuits.
The technology box must be installed in such a
way that no rainwater can penetrate. The
connecting cables for the camera, loudspeaker
and microphone module and the brightness
sensor should not be extended, but the cables
can be shortened.
The cable length for connecting the push-button
must not exceed 1 m.
A 3 mm diameter hole is required for the
brightness sensor. The sensor should stay in the
hole by itself, if necessary you can fix it with hot
glue or adhesive tape.
For camera, loudspeaker and microphone
modules, appropriate adhesive pads are included
to fix them at their destination. If you want to
screw the modules together, please use the
respective module as a template. Loudspeaker
and microphone modules should not be mounted
directly next to each other to avoid feedback. A
hole with a diameter of 52 mm is required for
the camera module. There are markings on the
camera so that it can be installed correctly. As
the mounting height of the camera module
depends on your local conditions, we cannot
recommend an optimal installation height. A
mounting height of 1.5m to 1.6m has proven to
be a good guideline.
The light sensor should be mounted in a place
that is illuminated by daylight, so that the
automatic system functions properly. If you want
to install the light sensor in your existing front
panel, a 3mm hole is required for this purpose.
The exact dimensions of the individual modules
can be found in the drawings.
Please note that installing the technology box in
a metal housing can considerably limit the range
of the radio module.
