Operation
2.5 Grabber Functions
The open and close motion of the grabber is controlled by the
thumb wheel on the joystick.
Be sure all non-operator personnel are at
least 20 feet (6 meters) away from all areas
of the Packer.
Serious personal injury or death may occur.
WARNING
Conditions
• Truck travel speed must be less than 7 mph
• Engine speed must be below 1700 rpm
• Green Arm On LED must be lighted
• Green Pump On LED must be lighted
• OPERATOR PRESENCE switch on joystick must be
pressed
2.5.1 Open Grabber Fingers
Roll the thumb wheel up to open the grabber fingers ( Figure
27 , Item 1).
2.5.2 Close Grabber Fingers
Roll the thumb wheel down to close the grabber fingers
( Figure 27 , Item 2).
