Install the Buzzer
The buzzer (PN 1483944) produces a louder audible alert, along with the visual on the monitor, to the presence
of objects in the path of the vehicle. The buzzer is placed in the cab. Discard the black wire, unless you need it to
extend the negative (white) wire. See Figure 28 for buzzer components.
The audible part of the buzzer does not sound until
3 black/white indicator balls are displayed on the
monitor. See Detection Zone Set Up for more
information.

Terminal crimped on the red
wire. Attach to the positive (+)
terminal on the buzzer.

Remove and discard the
black wire (unless you need it
as extension to white wire).
Attach the WHITE wire to the
negative terminal (—) on
buzzer.

4. Route the white wire marked "buzzer" to the buzzer location.
5. Strip the white wire and crimp one of the pink terminals from the buzzer onto the white wire from the Cab
Adaptor Cable (PN 1483928).
Attach the white wire to the negative (-) terminal on the buzzer. See Figure
29.
6. Strip the red wire and crimp one of the pink terminals from the buzzer onto the red wire. Attach the red wire
to the positive (+) terminal on the buzzer. See Figure 29.
7. Connect the other end of the red wire to the reverse light power circuit.
8. Install the buzzer into the buzzer bracket.
9. Secure the bracket in a location in the cab where it can be heard by the vehicle's operator.
