28. Cut an opening of 47-5/8” (120.9cm) high by 14-1/2”
(36.8cm) wide into the wall suface finish material.
29. Remove and set aside the twelve screws from the rear
of the Loudspeaker System. Refer to figure 13.
30. At the locations where the just removed screws came
from, attach the three In-Wall Brackets to the rear of
the Loudspeaker. Refer to figure 14.
31. Referring to the XR27 Owner’s Manual, make the
necessary connections to the rear of the Loudspeaker
Column.
32. Using the attached brackets as handles, lift up the
Loudspeaker System and place it into the wall cutout.
33. Secure the Loudspeaker System Brackets through the
wall finish material and into the studs, using the sup-
plied 10 x 2-1/2 inch screws. Refer to figure 14.
34. Attach the supplied McIntosh Logo to either the bot-
tom front of the Loudspeaker Grille or the front
baffle board behind the Grille.
35. Orient the Loudspeaker Grille even with top/sides of
the Loudspeaker and align the Grille fastening pins to
the Loudspeaker Grommets (there are four pins on
each side). Carefully push down to secure the Grille
to the Column.
