An a p p l i c a t i o n for A THREE YEAR SERVICE C O N T R A C T is included w i t h this manual.
The terms of the c o n t r a c t are:
1 . M c i n t o s h w i l l p r o v i d e all p a r t s ,
materials and labor needed to return the
measured performance of the instru-
ment to the original performance limits.
The SERVICE CONTRACT does not
cover any s h i p p i n g c o s t s to and f r o m
the authorized service agency or the
factory.
2. Any Mcintosh authorized service agency
will repair M c i n t o s h i n s t u r m e n t s at nor-
mal service rates. To receive service
under the terms of the SERVICE CON-
TRACT, the SERVICE CONTRACT CER-
TIFICATE must be presented when the
instrument is taken to the service agency.
3. A l w a y s have s e r v i c e d o n e by a
M c i n t o s h authorized service agency. If
the instrument is m o d i f i e d or d a m a g e d
as a result of unauthorized repair, the
SERVICE CONTRACT will be c a n c e l l e d .
Damage by improper use or mishan-
dling is not covered by the SERVICE
CONTRACT.
4. The SERVICE CONTRACT is issued to
you as the original purchaser. To pro-
tect you from misrepresentation, this
contract cannot be transferred to a se-
c o n d owner.
5. To receive the SERVICE CONTRACT,
your purchase must be made from a
M c i n t o s h franchised dealer.
6. Your c o m p l e t e l y filled in application for
the SERVICE CONTRACT must be
p o s t m a r k e d w i t h i n 30 days of the date
of purchase of the instrument.
7. To receive the SERVICE CONTRACT, all
i n f o r m a t i o n on the a p p l i c a t i o n must be
filled in. The SERVICE CONTRACT will
be issued when the completely filled in
a p p l i c a t i o n is received by M c i n t o s h
Laboratory Incorporated in Binghamton,
New York.
