Installati on Instructi ons
Step 1: Determine the best locati on for the blender! Please consider the following:
A) Select a locati on that minimizes the chance of accidental damage to the blender.
B) Select a locati on as near as is practi cal to both the supply sources and the supplied equipment.
C) Select a locati on allowing convenient access to the shut off valve for servicing.
D) Mount panel in a weather-proof area only.
Step 2: Mount panel to wall!
Step 3: Hook up gas supply and outlet!
A) Use
only
the gases shown on the panel label(s).
B) Make sure you are supplying the panel with clean, dry gases that are between the minimum and
maximum pressures as indicated on the panel label.
C) Turn shut-off valve(s) on panel to the off positi on.
D) Make sure the tubing from the gas sources is compati ble with the fi tti ngs on the panel.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE INLET OR OUTLET FITTINGS.
E) Install appropriate tubing adaptors in the inlet fi tti ngs. Be sure to use thread sealant and back-up
wrenches. Connect gases supply lines to inlet fi tti ngs.
F) Confi rm that your system and related equipment is safe and ready for pressurized mixed gas.
G) Connect mixed gas supply tube to mixed gas outlet fi tti ng.
H) Turn on the supply gases and check supply system and fi tti ngs for leaks.
I) Open mixed gas supply shut off valve and check system for leaks.
Operati on Guidelines and Helpful Hints
NOTES:
1) Supply the panel with clean gases.
2) Be sure no liquid can get into the blender as this will render it useless and void the warranty.
3) Some fi tti ngs on the panel do not have standard US threads, and should not be removed with out
checking with
McDantim, Inc.
!
4)
NEVER EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURES FOR ANY PART OF YOUR SYSTEM!
Trouble-shooti ng: No Outlet Gas
1) Close shut-off valve. Check pressure on pressure gauge. If pressure is low or zero, check:
a) Both supply gases. (One or both could be empty, turned off or out of adjustment.)
b) For blockage of either supply line or for a closed valve within the supply system. (The blender shuts
off if either supply gas is unavailable.)
If pressure is good:
d) Open shut-off valve completely.
2) If you conti nue to have no gas, close shut-off valve, remove tubing from outlet, open shut-off valve and
check for gas fl ow.
3) If you sti ll have no supply gas, call
McDantim, Inc.
or your gas supplier or service person.
There are
no user-serviceable parts within the panel. Anything done to the internal parts will aff ect the blend
and void the warranty.

label states “Min. inlet pressure
55 psi” then you must provide at
least 55 psi to the Blender Panel.
1. Use thread sealant.
2. Do not remove fittings.
3. Use back-up wrenches.
