If you have to mount a kerb, do so slowly
and approach it with the wheels at right-
angles to the kerb.
Examine the tyres regularly for cuts,
foreign objects and uneven wear of the
tread. Uneven wear could mean that the
wheel alignment is outside specification.
Limited-Slip Axle
This axle provides added traction on
slippery surfaces, particularly when one
wheel is on a poor traction surface. Under
normal conditions, the limited slip axle
functions like a standard rear axle. The
axle may exhibit a slight noise or
vibration in tight turns with low vehicle
speed. This is normal behaviour and
indicates the axle is working.
USING WINTER TYRES
CAUTION
Make sure that you use the correct
wheel nuts for the type of wheel the
winter tyres are fitted to.
If winter tyres are used, make sure that the
tyre pressures are correct. See
Technical

(page 209).
