9.3
Installation Procedure
Rotor with friction lining (4) and brake sur-
face must be oil and grease-free.
9.3.1
Type 8982.00101 screw connection on the coil
carrier front

Mount the hub (6) onto the shaft with inserted
key, bring it into the correct position as per instal-
lation dimension I

in Chapter
secure it axially.
2.
Establish the electrical connection of the brake.
3.
Position the brake with the coil carrier side (1) first
onto the motor flange. Please observe the correct
position of the tapped holes and strands.
If necessary, release (energize) the brake
if the centerings cannot be inserted easily.
Observe the information on protective
measures
Do not use force when joining the rotor
toothing onto the hub toothing.
4.
Screw the brake together with the bearing flange
using the three bores “s” in the coil carrier (1)
(see Fig. 2).
The user is responsible for providing the cap
screws (8). Sizes and tightening torques see
