At a glance – Front Cabin

Quick reference COMAND

When adjusting the balance or the fader,
the system automatically stores the set-
tings for the currently active operating
mode.

Opening the Balance/Fader menu

In Radio, CD, MP3 or AUX mode:

Press the

Bal/Fad

soft key.

The balance/fader menu appears on
the display. Balance and/or fader can
now be adjusted.

In TV or DVD mode:

With blanked-out soft keys, press any
one of the soft keys.

The soft key descriptions become vis-
ible.

Press the

Tone

soft key.

The Tone menu appears

Press the

Bal/Fad

soft key.

The Balance/Fader menu appears.
Balance and/or fader can be adjusted.

Setting balance/fader

Call up the Balance/Fader menu
(

page 40).

A cross-hair cursor appears. The verti-
cal line indicates the balance settings.
The horizontal line indicates the fad-
er settings.

The cursor moves horizontally, ad-
justing the desired balance,
