EEPROM programming 

Ensure that the EEPROM has the required customer parameters programmed, otherwise ensure 

that  a  test  EEPROM  is  programmed  with  at  least  the  lowest,  middle  and  highest  RX/TX 

frequencies prior to aligning the UHF scanning mobile radio. 

Test Equipment Connection 

Test equipment connections for performance and Alignment tests are shown in figure 1. 

Connect the power supply leads as follows: 

1.  

Ensure the power supply is switched off. 

2.  

Positive lead of the power supply to the red wire terminal tag of the 7.5V D.C. connector. 

3.  

Negative  lead  of  the  power  supply  to  the  black  wire  terminal  tag  of  the  7.5V  D.C. 

connector.
