machine is not supplied with a factory fitted molded plug then a qualified electrical technician must be
contacted to wire the unit to the power supply.
•
Before using your machine for the first time it is recommended that the exterior of the machine is wiped
down with a damp cloth, and the bowl and attachments are washed using a food safe cleaning detergent
and rinsed with warm water.
•
Level and position the machine in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
Operation
•
Plug the machine into the main socket.
•
Before turning on the mixer select the desired mixing speed using the speed knob.
•
IMPORTANT!
Never overload the machine. Never fill the machine with more than 1.25KG flower when
processing dough. In case of heavy operation the maximum capacity may even be less. Consult your
authorized reseller in case of doubt. The moisture content of heavy dough is critical when selecting the
proper mixing speed. Only use the speeds 2-4 when mixing dough.

Once the speed has been selected, press the start button to activate the mixer. The head of the mixer
must be closed and fixed for the mixer to operate. If the head is tilted or not closed properly then the
mixer will not function.
•
To change the speed, turn the speed knob to select the desired speed. you can change the speed when
the machine is running.
•
When mixing light batches it is recommended that the mixer is not used continuously for a time period of
more than 30 minutes and a cooling off period of 15-20 minutes should be allowed between mixing
cycles.
•
When mixing heavier batches it is recommended that the mixer does not run for more than 20 minutes
continuously and a cooling off period of 20-30 minutes should be allowed between mixing batches.
•
Should the machine not be used for a longer period, please remove the plug from the main socket.
Safety Features
The machine is fitted with the following safety features designed to protect the user and the machine against
injury or damage:
•
Safety Guard
– The safety guard is fixed and may not be removed except for cleaning.
Never try to put
your hands in the bowl while in operation.
•
Head Switch
– The head must be in fully closed position in order to be able to activate the mixer. If the
head is not completely down and not fixed properly, then the mixer will not start. If the head is tilted
during use then the mixer will switch off. In order to restart the mixer the head must be closed.
Never try
to tilt the head or remove the bowl while in operation.
•
Overload Protection
– The motor is fitted with a safety shut off device which will automatically turn off
the machine when the manufacturers recommended operating limits are heavily exceeded. When this
happens then the machine should be left off for a minimum of 60 minutes in order to allow the motor to
cool down. After the cool down period then the user can continue careful use of the machine. Any
damage caused this way is not covered by warranty.
