Operation
•
Only use with flat-bottom cookware made from; cast iron, enameled iron & (stainless) steel.
•
Do not use with cookware smaller than 12 cm Ø or made from; ceramic, copper, (heat-resistant) glass or
aluminum.
•
Place your (suitable) cookware centrally on the circle on the cooking surface.
•
Turn the dial clockwise to activate.
•
Use the
“
P/°C
”
key to switch
between “
POWER
”
and
“TEMPERATURE” function
s.
•
Set the functions as desired by turning the dial.
o
Available power settings: 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000 Watt (W).
o
Available temperature settings: 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240 Celsius (°C).
•
To (temporary) disable the
control panel, press and hold the “LOCK” key until
the indicator illuminates. To
unlock; again press and hold
the “LOCK” key
until you hear the
“beep” and
the indicator deactivates.
•
The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection for safety. If the temperature becomes too high, a
“
buzzer
”
will sound and the appliance will switch off automatically. The display will also show code
“E
0
2”.
In
case the overheat protection is activated, please let the appliance cool down. After the cooling down period
the appliance can be reactivated and it should function like normal.

When not in use, switch off the machine using the
“
ON/OFF
”
key.
•
Clean the appliance according to instructions after use
(see chapter “
Cleaning and Maintenance
”)
.
•
If the appliance will not be used for a longer period, please also remove the plug from the main socket.
