Problems and possible solutions
Installation problems
The card does not fit
With a new or previously unused slot, there may be considerable
resistance as the card slides into the slot; make sure that the card is
perfectly aligned with the PCI slot and push it in firmly but gently until
it is correctly seated.
Your system does not boot

q Make sure your system BIOS settings match those outlined in
“System BIOS settings” on page 14 .
General operating problems
Some or all DigiMix functions are not operating properly
Possible causes
q The DigiMix hardware is not properly installed.
– DigiMix must be properly installed in the appropriate PCI slot.
Refer to the DigiSuite Installation Manual as well as this manual
for details on proper DigiMix installation.
– Make sure that the DigiMix module board is firmly attached to
the base board.
q The driver dmixvfx is not running.
To verify this, in both NT 3.51 and NT 4.0, run Devices in your Control
Panel and check the status of the dmixvfx driver. If it is not running, try
the solutions below.
