Fig 26: Universal joint shaft mounted

1.

Fit the universal joint shaft on the mid drive of the tractor.

2.

Slide both protective tubes onto the universal joint shaft. The cut-out protective
tube must point to the rear.

3.

Fit the front universal joint shaft on the take-off on the drive shaft.

4.

Pull the protective tubes of the universal joint shaft as far apart as possible.

5.

Fasten the protective tubes to the holders with the rubber elements.

Dismounting the universal joint shaft

1.

Remove the rubber elements from the universal joint shaft guard.

2.

In succession pull the two sides of the universal joint shaft off of the shaft stubs.

3.

Remove the universal joint shaft with guard under the tractor.

The universal joint shaft is dismounted.

3.3

Mounting the attachment kit for the mower

Attention!
See the John Deere operating manual for information on attaching and
detaching the complete mower.

Note!
Remove the coupling triangle before mounting the attachment kit.
Lower the mower.

1.

Dismount the fork pieces from the original mower attachment parts.

2.

Mount these fork pieces on the mower attachment parts supplied by matev.

3.

Move the front lift downward.
