Adding IP Cameras to the NVR

Network Configuration and
Cloud Services
To avoid damage or risk to the product
please apply these factors in placement and
installation of the NVR and power adaptor:
• Install it in a well-ventilated place and do
not block the unit’s ventilation.
• Avoid any high humidity environments
such as near a window or near an air
conditioner.
• Don’t put containers filled with liquid on
the device as they may spill and damage
the unit.
Please follow the prompts of the startup
Wizard to install the CCTV system after
connecting power and switching on.
The startup wizard will lead you through
using the Mobile APP, Network Configuration
and Intelligent Analysis features etc.
The NVR default
Username: admin
Password: 123456
We strongly recommend
modifying the default
password for your
security and to prevent
unauthorised use, it is
currently set at 123456. We recommend a
strong password including symbols, number,
lowercase and uppercase characters and
the password should be modified every 6
months.
Network Channel Management
– UPNP function to add IP cameras
Method 1. Right click the mouse anywhere
on the TV monitor connected to the NVR
and select Open then select UPNP. All the
connected IP cameras will show video on the
TV monitor automatically within 3 minutes.
(For third-party camera, please refer to
Method 2 by adding
manually)

Click task bar icon
and choose NET
Channel Management, then select search or
modify camera IP address if needed, then
add the camera manually.
Record Plan
By default, the NVR will start recording
after the cameras are added to the NVR.
You can edit the record schedule
and record type.
An example would be to select the yellow
MD (motion detect) type if you wanted
Motion Alarm recording alarm, for the MD
type alarm to operate you must remember
to enable the camera motion alert function
Network Configuration and Access
The NVR must be on the same network as
the users internet local area network, in this
case the default IP address is: 192.168.1.88
Enable DHCP for automatic network
detection. You can also assign the IP
address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS
manually if you have a background in
network management.
Once the NVR under the Network state tab
reports “healthy network and “Online” status
the user can type in the IP address to the
IE address bar to get the login page. You
will need the user name and password to
proceed.

Third-party Cloud Storage
Cloud recording is supported on the following
cloud networks. Supports Baidu, Drobox,
Google cloud disk, cloud storage server. Set
the alarm information push type, allowing the
upload of the alarm and video to the cloud
disk. Select the checkbox and bind your
account if you have registered one.
Playback
Right click and select Search. Select the date
and channels, and double click the time bar
to start the playback. You can zoom in/out
via rotating mouse wheel
Important:
Please connect all devices as
indicated in the devices connection diagram.
Please connect all the cameras with the LAN
cables to the NVR provided prior to system
switch on.
An internet connection is required from
your LAN network, router, ADSL modem
or switch. Please note RJ45 socket above
the USB ports that is to be used for this
connection.
