TO CHANGE THE FUSE
1.
This unit may be mounted by use of the key-holes provided on the base of the unit. These are set at 180mm centres. Under no
circumstances must this unit be hard wired or connected as a fixed installation. Mains connection must be b
y
use of a f
l
exible cable
and 13 amp plug to BS 1363: Part 1:1995.
2.
Do not use or mount as a trailing socket where it may be subject to the effects of dampness, excessive heat or moisture.
Always switch off the mains supply and remove the plug before removing or replacing the fuse carrier.
1. Switch off the mains supply and remove the plug.
2. Remove the fuse carrier by turning anticlockwise with a coin and lifting carrier and fuse clear.
3. Always fit a 13 amp fuse to BS1362.
4. Ensure the carrier is turned fully home when replacing.
