OPERATION
CHARGING THE LI-ION BATTERY PACK
A fully discharged battery pack will charge in approximately 30-60 minutes (depending
on the battery’s capacity and voltage) at a temperature between 32° and 104°F (between
0°and 40°C).
Use only the proper charger to charge the battery pack.
1.
Connect the charger to a power supply.
2.
Attach the battery pack to the
charger by aligning the raised ribs of
the battery pack with the slot in the
charger and then sliding the battery
pack into the charger (Fig. 2).
3.
When charging, the green LED on the
charger will begin to flash.
4.
When charging is complete, the green
LED on the charger will light up. The
Power Bar LEDs will displayed if the
Power Bar button is pressed while the
battery pack is in the charger.
5.
If it is left in the charger, the battery pack will charge fully, but it will not overcharge.
CHARGING THE NI-CD BATTERY PACK
A fully discharged Ni-Cd battery pack will charge in approximately 60 minutes (depending
on the battery’s capacity and voltage) at a temperature between 50° and 86°F (between
10° and 30°C).
Use only the proper charger to charge the battery pack.
1.
Connect the charger to a power supply.
2.
Attach the battery pack to the charger by aligning the raised ribs of the battery pack
with the slot in the charger and then sliding the battery pack into the charger (Fig. 2).
3.
When charging is complete, the green LED on the charger will light up.
