Step 4 –
- Place the catalytic combustor on the top of the front baffle between tabs and the back stiffener. Position the
combustor to the left side of the plate.
- Note the end notches to lock the front baffle into small tabs on the side supports. Also, note the tabs on the front
baffle to locate the combustor and the flame arrestor plate. (see schematic below)
- Take both, the front baffle and combustor assembly and gently lift up into the gap between the baffle supports and
the front deflector. Hold the front of this assembly up slightly as you slide it as far back as it will go, then lower the
front to rest on the supports. Ensure the end notches have locked into the tabs of the side support.
- Again check that the combuster is positioned fully on the left side of the firebox.
Step 5 –
- Take the stainless steel flame arrestor plate and orient it in such a fashion that the flange with the slots are at the
bottom. Hold it vertical. Lift in the front of the firebox, between the gap of front air deflector and front baffle.
- Lift it till it hits the top of the firebox. Then tilt the bottom flange and slide it on the front flange of the front baffle till
the slots on flange lock into small tabs on the front baffle. Allow the top of the flame arrestor plate to rest on the
air deflector
