Always take the following precautions into consideration before using the 
“Electrical ear cleaner”, hereinafter referred to as the ‘device’.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

equipment directive)

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION

•  Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them safe. If you give 

this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.

•  Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in this 

user manual.

•  This device can be used by children under the age of 8 and people with 

restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity or a lack of experience 
and expertise, provided they are under supervision or have been given 
instructions about the safe use of the device and are aware of the 
potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and 
maintenance must not be done by children unless they are over the age 
of 8 and under supervision.

•  This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for 

professional use.

 Do not leave packaging material lying around 

carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for 

children.

 because small parts may be swallowed. The ear tips 

and cleaning brush are small parts that could be swallowed. 

Keep these parts away from children under the age of 36 months.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

•  Only use the device for its intended purpose.
•  This device is exclusively indented for cleaning the ears of humans.
•  Improper use of the device could damage the product.
•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•  Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the 

device as a toy.

•  Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
•  Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without 

supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with 
incorrectly using electric appliances.

•  Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate 

the device if it is damaged.

•  Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
•  Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a 

low height, can damage the device.

•  Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static 

electricity or magnetic fields.

•  Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable materials.
•  Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as 

naked flames (hobs, for example).

•  Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive 

humidity or corrosive environments.

•  Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk 

of electric shocks, and do not use it again.

•  The warranty will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a 

result of not observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no 
liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, 
negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this 
user manual.

•  Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device. 
•  Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
•  Do not use the device if there are visible signs of damage.
•  Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not 

operate normally.

•  Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in 

any manner.

•  The device does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the 

user. 

•  Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service centre. 

Qualified service centre: after-sales department of the manufacturer or 
store, which is recognized and authorized to carry out such repairs, so 
that potential hazards can be prevented. If problems are encountered 
with the device, please return it to this department.

•  For hygienic reasons, it is advised to have the device used by one 

person. In case of multiple users, make sure the device is clean.

BATTERIES, ELECTRICITY & HEAT

•  Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely.
•  Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
•  Only use AAA Alkaline batteries.
•  Correctly insert the batteries into the battery compartment, respecting 

the polarity.

•  To prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries from the device if it is 

not used for a long period of time.

•  Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. Wear 

protective gloves when handling leaking batteries and dispose of the 
gloves after use. If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery fluid to 
come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, 
wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek 
medical advice.

•  Rechargeable AAA batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable 

batteries must be removed from the device before being charged.

•  Only charge rechargeable batteries with the charger that 

comes with these batteries and follow the instructions in the 
manufacturer’s manual.
