RTC Counter Register (RCNR)

RCNR, defined in 

Table 13-12

, reflects the current value of the RTC counter. 

RCNR is incremented at each rising edge of a 1-Hz clock signal, which is obtained after trimming the 
approximate 32-kHz clock signal in the trimmer module. A crystal clock oscillator provides the 32.768-kHz 
clock.

These are read/write registers. Ignore reads from reserved bits. Write 0b0 to reserved bits.

RTC Day Counter Register (RDCR)

RDCR, defined in 

Table 13-13

, reflects the current time in seconds, minutes, hours, day-of-the-week, and 

week-of-the-month. 

The Week-Of-Month (WOM) and Day-Of-Week (DOW) fields are used together to represent the current day and 
week of the month. For example: DOW = 3 indicates Tuesday and WOM = 1 indicates the first week of the 
month, so together this indicates Tuesday of the first week of the month.
