Fiber Optic TX and RX

The concentrator is equipped with 4 connectors fiber. 2 for TX and 2 for RX (no need to do fine
lapping prior to connection of the fiber).

TX and RX fiber are calibrated to the use of plastic optical fiber to a maximum length of 200
meters. When there is an interruption or a torsion of the fiber, the optical receiver detects the
change of transmitted light and communicates it to the concentrator module. In the bus
mode , the communication is directly with the central ALM-6800.
Alarms cutting or torsion are identified by two different relays for loop for a total of four alarm
relays on board the concentrator.
