USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Charging the battery via USB cable
1.
Connect the camera to a computer to charge the battery.
2.
The charge indicator goes red during the charging and goes off when the battery is fully
charged. It normally takes 3–5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Using the memory card
NOTE: The camera does not have a built-in memory. Always insert a memory card before use.
1.
Insert the memory card in the card slot according to the instructions on the camera.
2.
Remove the memory card by carefully pushing it in so that it springs out.
SWITCHING ON/OFF
NOTE:
• To save the battery the display switches off automatically when the camera goes into standby mode.
• The camera switches off when the battery is fully charged. When the battery is discharged the
icon
is shown on the display to indicate that the battery needs to be charged.
Switching on
1.
Press the power switch for 1 second. The camera switches on and the display lights up.
Switching off
1.
Press the power switch for 3 seconds when the camera is in standby mode.
