NOTE:
• The power cord must be unplugged to enable battery operation.
• Remove the batteries when they have become discharged, or if the appliance is not going to be
used for some time, otherwise there is a risk of the batteries leaking and damaging the appliance.
ON/OFF
Start the appliance by switching the [OFF/FM/AUX] selector to FM. The display comes on and the
appliance starts.
Switch off the appliance by switching the [OFF/FM/AUX] selector to OFF.
SELECTING THE SOURCE
Select FM radio or AUX by setting the [OFF/FM/AUX] selector to the corresponding mode.
VOLUME SETTING
Increase/decrease the volume with the [VOL] knob.
USING THE AUX INPUT
Connect an external audio source to the AUX input to hear the sound through the appliance speaker.
MP3 players, telephones, DVD players and navigation systems etc. can be connected.
• Connect the AUX cable from the external audio source to the AUX input on the back of the appliance.
• Set the [OFF/FM/AUX] selector to AUX to start the appliance and hear the sound from the
external audio source.
• Increase/decrease the volume with the [VOL] knob.
FM RADIO
Extend the telescopic antenna fully and adjust it for best FM reception.
Switching to the FM band
• Set the [OFF/FM/AUX] selector to FM.
Automatic scan of FM stations
• Press [
] or [
] to search for next or previous station on the band.
• Manual scan of FM stations
• Press [
] or [
] to scan through the band in steps of 50 kHz.
PRESETTING STATIONS
The appliance can store up to 6 preset FM stations.
Storing preset stations
• Tune in the station you want to preset.
• Press in the [MEMO] button.
