SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the User Instructions carefully before use
The appliance must only be connected to the type of mains supply and voltage specified on the
type plate.
IMPORTANT
:
Do not use the appliance in the bath or shower, or over a wash basin full of water.
Unplug the power cord immediately if the appliance comes into contact with water. Do not
touch the water. Have the appliance checked by an authorised electrician before using it
again.
Never spray the appliance with any form of liquid.
Keep the appliance dry, do not expose it to moisture (splashing water etc.), and do not touch
it with wet hands. Always switch off the appliance before putting it down.
The air grill gets hot after a while.
Make sure that the power cord does not touch the air grill when using the appliance.
Regularly check the power cord for damage. Any repairs (including replacing the power
cord) must be carried out by an authorised service centre. Special tools are needed.
Do not block the inlet and blower openings.
The appliance will switch off automatically if there is inadequate ventilation, thanks to the
built-in overheating protection. The appliance switches on automatically again after it has
cooled.
Switch off the appliance and pull out the plug before cleaning, and when not in use.
The air grill prevents hair being sucked into the appliance.
If the grill gets blocked, clean it with a vacuum cleaner or a brush. Otherwise the air flow will
gradually be reduced and this will activate the overheating protection.
Do not allow your hair to come into direct contact with the air grill.
Electrical appliances must only be repaired by an authorised electrician.
Repairs that are not carried out correctly can lead to a risk of serious personal injury and/or
death.
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING:
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

USE
Blow-dry your hair as usual when you have washed it, but keep it damp if you want to shape it.
Dampen your hair with a little water if necessary.
It can frizzle and be difficult to shape if it gets too dry.
Curl your hair as you want it by turning the brush in the right direction.
