Operation
Basic Status
The work sound effect 1 is called up
in the electronic circuit’s basic state
(blinking warning light). All of the fun-
ctions of the sound effects circuit are
turned off. This basic state is reached
when the sound effects circuit itself if
without power for a short time.
Calling Up the Sound Effects
Circuit
A digital locomotive controller
(Control Unit, Control 80 f) is required
to operate the sound effects circuit.
First, enter a two-digit digital address
on the ten button keypad on the
locomotive controller, just as you
would for calling up a locomotive.
The digital address set at the factory
for the sound effects circuit is 21.
With the Mobile Station you must
configure the equipment car as one
of the 10 possible entries in the loco-
motive list. The exact procedure for
this can be found in the instructions
for operating the Mobile Station.
