1) General recommendations
During the annual maintenance, it is necessary to check and control the heat exchanger of heater.
It contributes to maintain product’ performances and safety.
The inspection must be done the same way for all units which have a condensing heat exchanger.
The inspection must be realized by qualified personnel only.
Heat exchanger maintenance can be made without difficulties, which implies a short service interruption.
Use only the equipment specified in this documentation.
2) Cleaning steps
Turn off the unit, switch the power off, and turn off the gas supply before any intervention.
A)
Disconnect the ignition and ionization electrodes.
B)
Disconnect the power cable of the burner fan and control cable.
C)
Remove temporarily the flexible between the solenoid gas valve and the venturi system.
D)
Take off the four M6 nuts with a socket spanner or 10 mm closed-end wrench. Keep the nuts on hand.
E)
Remove carefully the burner door and keep it on safety place.
F)
Inspect the burner door :
-Gasket, change it each time you open the door to ensure the sealing of the combustion chamber
-State of insulation : tear, break, water absorption
-State of burner surface
