Filtration device location
First, select the appropriate location for filtering. It should have a solid horizontal
substrate, be well accessible, protected from rain, sunlight and before flooding
with water. Avoid installing in wells, shafts, etc., because there is a high risk of
flooding the electric pump with water. Select a place where at least 10 cm of air
for engine cooling will be located behind the pump motor. Also, there must be
sufficient space for filtering and maintenance over filtration and around it. There
must be a single-phase electric socket complying with the relevant ČSN standard.
If you use the extension cable, it must be H07RN-F type with a cross-sectional
area of at least 1 mm2. It is recommended to use a suitable plate size under the
filter unit (concrete, stoneware, etc.) and we recommend inserting a rubber pad
to reduce vibration and noise. For safety reasons, install the filter so that the
smallest distance from the edge of the pool is 2 m. Route the suction and return
pipes / hoses as straight as possible and as far as possible in the direction of the
pump or valve. Increasing the distance between the unit and the pool, as well as
the complexity of the pipework, have a negative impact on the properties of the
filter unit. Install the filter unit below the water level in the pool with a pump
located at the bottom of the pool (this is a flow pump). The pump supply cable
is equipped with a plug for connection to a 230V / 50Hz electrical circuit. This
electrical circuit must conform to the relevant standard (ČSN 33 2000) and must
be equipped with a current protector with a tripping current of 30 mA. The pump
is not equipped with a running switch. We recommend that it be connected via
a device that allows the pump to be switched on and off (eg a switch socket).
