This unit can be battery powered. Located on the backside is the battery
compartment.
It is locked by a screw located on the front panel. Unscrew it and push; the battery
pack will pop out.
Use 6x standard AA alkaline cells or rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Prototype comments
The final version differs from the prototype in some ways:
1. Milled plates will be black-anodized at all visible surfaces.
2. The plastic frame around the miniXLRs will be excluded.
3. The XLR power output will be moved to the MIC1 location.
4. The knobs will be slightly smaller.
5. Some holes in the bottom plates will be removed.
6. Laser engraving will be more even and white.
