Using your new thermostat
The following procedures show how to operate the thermostat.
It is recommended that you follow the instructions and try to operate once before
connecting it to the heating or cooling system.
1. Start
The thermostat must be operated by two LR6 alkaline batteries.
When the batteries are installed ,the thermostat should be operating and you can see
the LCD active. If the thermostat does not work properly , please check the batteries
for wrong polarities and press the reset button by a ball point pen . The LCD will be
as following drawing just after the batteries installed or reset .
Note:
A. Temperature may not be 20.0°C as the diagram shown.
B. Never use a pencil to push the reset button . The graphite residue of a pencil can
cause short circuit and damage the thermostat .
2. Set day/time
To set day press “DAY” button to change day setting . To set hour , press “HOUR”
button . To set minute , press “MIN”button .
Example : When just installed batteries or reset the time is 00:00 , Sunday . To set
the clock to current time 11:23 , Tuesday , press “DAY”2 times , “HOUR”11 times ,
“MIN” 23 times .
Note:
When you press and hold the keys for 2 seconds the day/times will change automa-
tically . Release when the desired setting comes
3. View and change temperature setting
Press “TEMP”, the thermostat enter view/change Temperature mode . The LCD Tem-
perature will flash to show the setting of the current temperature mode

view another temperature mode setting, simply to press another temperature mode
key

. If now at PROG 0 of defrost temperature mode

, the LCD will show
the Economy temperature setting . To change the temperature setting simply to press
the same temperature mode key

, the temperature setting will be increased
stepped by 0.5°C . Or press Ok to return to normal operation mode. The temperature
will stop flashing .
Note:
1 The temperature setting range is 5°C to 30°C.
2 To lower the setting, enter view/change temperature mode and press

R
,
button until it reaches 30°C and then the setting will return to 5°C. Continue to
press until the desired setting comes .
3 Please note the temperature mode indicator

means comfort temperature is
being viewed or changed, means Economy temperature is being viewed or chan-
ged. But when PROG 0 defrost temperature mode

, it can not be view or change
. It preset to 7°C . When defrost
❄
, you press “TEMP” it will shown Economy tem-
perature but without Economy indicator . At this time , you press

button
again it will change or view comfort or Economy just like normal situation .
4 It is not always necessary to use OK to return to normal operation mode. After 16
seconds of no button pressed . It will automatically return to normal mode.
4. Manual override
Press
R
to select comfort temperature override . Press

to select economy tempe-
rature override . The current hour temperature mode will be overrode until the next
hour’s program comes . The manual override indicator will appears at the same time.
Press OK another temperature mode key to clear override .
If you want the manual override status can be hold more than one hour . You can
press and hold

key for more than 2 seconds . The hold time will appear .
Press the key again to set the hold time. Press OK to return normal mode . The ma-
ximum hold time can be set to 24 hours. During the override period the temperature
mode will not be effected by the program .
When manual override is active. Press the corresponding temperature mode key
can review the remaining hold time . The remaining hold time can be increased by
pressing the same key . If the another temperature mode key is pressed , the override
will be cleared .
Note: A. The manual override indicator will appear during the override period .
