OPERATOR’S GUIDE
This guide describes the operation of the Personal Role Radio (PRR).
CONTROLS
Volume ON/OFF
Switches on/off the radio and
adjusts the volume.
Channel Selector

15 position selector.
PTT (PRR)
Press-To-Talk for the PRR.
Wireless PTT (PRR)
Remote Press-To-Talk
for the PRR.
SETTING UP

Check PRR is switched off.
2 Connect
headset.
3 Insert
Batteries.

Check Channel Selector is correctly set.
5
Switch PRR on.
AFFILIATING TO THE WIRELESS PTT

Switch PRR OFF. Position Wireless PTT
as shown.

Switch PRR ON. Ascending tones heard.
3
Press and Hold Wireless PTT, until
ascending tones heard again.
4 Release
PTT.
5
Descending tones heard if unsuccessful -
repeat steps 1 to 4.
