Configuring the Camera’s Network Settings
The
Network
sub-menu allows you to configure the ME6 IR Dome network parameters,
set the device to DHCP mode, or automatically retrieve the parameters through a router
using the PPPoE protocol. It also allows you to configure advanced options, such as
communication ports and enable theIPv6 protocol.
Select your configuration:

“To configure the camera to use DHCP” on page 33
•
“To configure the camera to use a static IP address” on page 34
•
“To configure the camera to obtain the network parameters through a router” on
page 34
•
“To configure communication ports and enable the IPv6 protocol” on page 34
To configure the camera to use DHCP
1 On the
System Settings
page, click the
Network Basic
tile.
The
Network
sub-menu appears.
2 In the
General
section, click
Get IP Address automatically
.
3 Click
Save
to save and apply the changes.
The camera is set to DHCP mode and the web server restarts. After a few moments,
the camera automatically retrieves an IP address from the DHCP server. Use the
Discovery Browser to detect the ME6 IR Dome on the network.
