General use

Calibration : Make sure your device is properly calibrated. To do so, please use the
software’s manual.

Software :
Use the F1 key for online help or refer to our "Quick start" or "User’s manual"
documents.

Optics 4) : Turn the knob 5) to change the magnification. The zoom positions are indexed.
You should therefore feel a "click" when you are at the required position. A sticker on the
zoom allows you to know your position. Make sure you select the same position on the
software. For more information, please refer to the "
OptiVID " operating instructions.

Sharpness : Place the part to be measured on the glass 15) of the X-Y table 11) and use
the cranks 17) and 18) to adjust the sharpness of the image.

Measurement : To move your part, use the handles 8) and 14). If necessary, you can dis-
engage them using levers 7) and 10).

Lighting 6) 12) 19) : Adjust the illuminators intensities using the light boxes 27). For more
information, refer to the operating instructions MA 356-041 if you have two illuminators or
the operating instructions MA 356-042 if you have three illuminators.
Special use for Premium 200M / 300M

Software : Only the M3E CNC software is available for motorized Premium models. A
" Quick Start " is available on our website. For more information, refer to the M3 operating in-
structions.

Emergency stop : In case of a risk of accident, hit the red emergency stop button 31). To
restart the machine, rotate this button 31) to the left or right to raise it.

X-Y table 11) : To move your part, use the trackball 32). The switch 29) allows you to
choose from slow to fast speed and vice versa.

Sharpness (column Z) : Place the part to be measured on the glass 15) of the X-Y table
11) and use the knob 30) to adjust the sharpness of the image.

Lighting 6) 12) 19) : Adjust the
illuminator’s intensity using the M3 software. For more in-
formation, refer to the M3 operating instructions.
