cabinet. Its 42 inch diagonal, 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display offers a 160 degree angle of
view, ideal for home theater installations. The PD-4290D is capable of displaying line doubled
images from any NTSC source, or a progressive scan image from a DVD player, computer or
DTV converter up to XGA resolution. It is ideal for computer games and graphic
presentations as well as home theater use.
High-resolution screen:
853 x 480 pixels in 16:9 mode. 60% brighter with 50% greater
contrast than our previous model.
Built-in line doubler/scaler
for NTSC inputs.
Four aspect ratio modes:
4:3 standard; Widescreen for full screen viewing of movies
mastered in widescreen format; Full mode expands images horizontally to fill the viewing
area; Stadium mode converts 4:3 aspect ratio programs to widescreen by expanding
horizontal and vertical proportions.
Four video inputs
including component, composite, S-video and RGB provide total
connection flexibility to accommodate a DVD player, VCR, tuner, satellite receiver, computer
or laser disc player.
Three video noise reduction levels
