3. No Remote Control Reception
Check that you are using a [RC001PMND] remote control and replace the batteries.
Is the switch on the [REMOTE CONTROL] input
output back panel set to [EXTERNAL]?
Only input via the [REMOTE IN] terminal is
received when set to [EXTERNAL].
Only remote control operations are received
when set to [INTERNAL].
Is a square wave input when the power is on and
a switch is pressed on the remote control while it
is pointed towards the device?

Check if the connection is as indicated in the
wiring diagram and adjust the FFC wiring if
necessary.
If this does not re-establish contact in the wiring,
replace the FFC or the circuit board which the
connectors are mounted on.
Check if the connectors are connected as
indicated in the wiring diagram and adjust the
connections if necessary.
If this does not re-establish contact in the wiring,
replace the Wire Assy unit or the circuit board
which the wires are mounted on.
Check if the connectors are connected as
indicated in the wiring diagram and adjust the
connections if necessary.
If this does not re-establish contact in the wiring,
replace the Wire Assy unit or the circuit board
which the wires are mounted on.
Check each part listed after "
YES
".
There is a [
Q5003
] malfunction if a square wave
is not output to the Front PCB [
Q5003
] collector
in the same way.
Replace the [
Q5003
].
If a square wave is output, check for abnor-
malities in the Power PCB [

Q5007
