NOTES ON DEFAULT SETTING
• If you insert an iPod in the IS201 in the default mode, the “marantz” logo appears on the iPod’s
display. This mode is called the OSD mode.
• When in OSD mode, connect the video output connectors of the IS201 to the input connectors
of the TV monitor, and operate the supplied remote control unit while looking at the monitor
screen.
In OSD mode (the mode with the “marantz” logo shown on the iPod’s display), the iPod does not
respond even if operated.
• When you want to operate using the iPod, you need to switch from OSD mode to LCD mode.
• To switch from OSD mode to LCD mode, press the MODE button on the supplied remote control
unit. The “marantz” logo disappears from the iPod’s display, the screen changes to the operation
screen of the iPod, and you can operate using the iPod while looking at the iPod’s display.

• Si vous insérez un iPod dans la station d’accueil IS201 alors qu’il se trouve en mode par défaut,
le logo « marantz » s’affiche sur l’écran de l’iPod. Ce mode est appelé mode OSD.

• Falls Sie im Standardmodus einen iPod in den IS201 einlegen, wird das “marantz”-Logo auf
dem Display des iPods angezeigt. Dieser Modus wird OSD-Modus genannt.
• Verbinden Sie im OSD-Modus die Videoausgänge des IS201 mit den Eingängen des Fernsehers
und benutzen Sie die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung, während Sie den Fernsehbildschirm
beobachten.
Im OSD-Modus (dem Modus, in dem das “marantz”-Logo auf dem Display des iPods angezeigt
wird), reagiert der iPod nicht auf direkte Bedienvorgänge.

OPMERKINGEN OVER STANDAARDINSTELLING
• Als je in de standaardstand een iPod in de IS201 zet, verschijnt het “marantz” logo op de display
van de iPod. Deze stand wordt de OSD-stand genoemd.
• Sluit in de OSD-stand de video-uitgangen van de IS201 aan op de ingangen van het TV-scherm
en bedien de meegeleverde afstandsbediening terwijl u naar het beeldscherm kijkt.
In de OSD-stand (de stand waarin het “marantz” logo wordt weergegeven op de display van de
iPod) reageert de iPod niet op bedieningshandelingen.
• Wanneer je bedieningshandelingen wilt uitvoeren op de iPod, moet je overschakelen van de OSD-
stand naar de LCD-stand.
• Je kunt overschakelen van de OSD-stand naar de LCD-stand door op de MODE-toets op de
geleverde afstandsbediening te drukken. Het “marantz” logo verdwijnt van de display van de iPod,
het scherm verandert in het bedieningsscherm van de iPod en je kunt bedieningshandelingen
uitvoeren met de iPod terwijl je naar de display van de iPod kijkt.
